We said we'd look into all the options only there are very few open to same sex couples, IVF mainly for the straight folk unless you go across the pond or going out getting drunk and sleeping with some dude propping up the nearest bar!!!(not good for your girlfriends moral!!)
So we write letters, local council......"unfortunenatley we dont require adopters right now"
National childrens homes......."yes of course we're crying out for adopters mainly for groups of four or more" *PASS OUT*
London broughs......"sure come along for a short interview" four hours later and a numb arse..."we'll be in touch"
